Water Treatment Plant Yard Piping
About this project
The Water Works Park yard piping project involved complete yard piping replacement and improvements to the low pressure system to expand and optimize capacity and create a high pressure zone to handle increased demands.
Sigma was the Prime Consultant on this project. Using hydraulic distribution system modeling and pipe and cross connect lines revisions, Sigma prepared the basis of design for replacing the yard piping distribution system. The project included the replacement of water main lines, venturi meters, gate valves, valve vaults, sumps, and a secure entranceway with a new guard shack, as well as the upgrade of the instrumentation and controls systems for the new metering equipment integrated with the plant’s Ovation and Rockwell Automation control system. Sigma’s civil engineering work included green site design.Back to all Projects
