Project Summary:
The project objective was to design new collector conduits and replace some existing sewer pipes to divert the dry weather flow to the existing sewer system and the combined sewer overflow to new diversion chambers that takes the flow to the Upper Rouge CSO Tunnel. The design process included gathering preliminary data, sewer route selection, plan preparation, construction, specifications and cost estimate, and Macomb County sewer system modeling.
