Project Summary:
Sigma designed the expansion and bridge deck replacement for the M-18 Bridge over the south branch of the Au Sable River for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). The superstructure was expanded to include two 12-foot lanes, curb and gutter, 6-foot-wide sidewalks, and railings. The project was staged to be constructed under traffic. Design work was completed in accordance with AASHTO and MDOT design standards and criteria.
